CDC’s WISQARS™ (Web-based Injury Statistics Query and Reporting System) is an interactive, online database that provides fatal and nonfatal injury, violent death, and cost of injury data from a variety of trusted sources. Researchers, the media, public health professionals, and the public can use WISQARS™ data to learn more about the public health and economic burden associated with unintentional and violence-related injury in the United States.

Emergency Medical Services Tracking and Reporting System (EMSTARS)
EMSTARS provides for the collection and analysis of incident level data from EMS agencies for benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives. EMSTARS has been implemented with the guidance of a constituency based advisory group who has defined and maintains a Data Dictionary ensuring the standardized collection of EMS incident data into the state repository.

This report was released by the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA), exploring adult rear seat belt use rates, state laws and enforcement, and public education efforts. The report, developed in partnership with Uber, makes specific recommendations on how states and other stakeholders can save lives by increasing rear seat belt use by adults.
